Love, laughter, and learning for your toddler
The Pembroke School gives young children a sense of belonging. Forming close relationships is a key social need at this young age. Secure, trusting, and loving relationships are formed beginning when an infant or child enters our center and continues as they progress through each classroom. Close communication and relationships often continue beyond your child's years at The Pembroke School. Toddlers learn best through exploration of their environment with trained teachers who are enthusiastic with your child's discoveries and daily accomplishments.
Our teachers are trained to scaffold your child's learning and development. We use a strong curriculum based on the Early Learning Standards for Toddlers that is recommended by the Ohio Board of Education. We center our activites around areas of learning that give your child a well-rounded education, including early literacy, reading, writing, math, science, social studies, physical activities, as well as social and emotional skills. Our teachers use "Creative Curriculum" which is a highly regarded research-based curriculum in developing daily activities. We also use "DECA" (A strong research-based program that is advocated by National and local agencies) to promote strong social and emotional skills for each child.
